PURPOSE: A connector for high-speed communication is provided to reduce the level of cross talk between signals by plating and etching signal conductors including signal contact pins to the insulation body. CONSTITUTION: A connector for high-speed communication includes signal contact pins arranged with high density, and has an acceptable cross-talk level. The high-speed electric connector comprises a nearly flat insulation body(40), a nearly flat grounding plate(30), and a signal conductor(50). The grounding plate is arranged to one flat surface of the insulation body, and the signal conductor is arranged to the other flat surface of the insulation body. Assembling hours are reduced, and manufacturing process is simplified with etching and plating the conductor on the insulation body. The insulation body has a recess(42) placed in the end of the flat surface close to the conductor to contain a soldering ball for ball grid array adhesion of the conductor to a circuit board. |
