FRONT SUCTION/DISCHARGE TYPE OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A front suction/discharge type outdoor unit is provided to allow for ease of installation and maintenance of the sirocco fan of the outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION: A front suction/discharge type outdoor unit comprises an outdoor unit casing having one open surface and other closed surfaces, and an interior divided into a suction part(11a) and a discharge part(11b); a compressor mounted within the outdoor unit casing, which compresses the refrigerant vapor supplied through a pipe from an indoor unit; an air-cooling condenser(30) mounted within the outdoor unit casing, which condenses the refrigerant vapor supplied from the compressor; and a sirocco fan(40) mounted within the outdoor unit casing, which has a fan housing including a diffuser side member and an opposite side member which are separable from each other. The sirocco fan supplies outdoor air to the air-cooling condenser, and discharges heat-exchanged air.
