The invention relates to novel cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical preparations containing: (a) dialkyl carbonates of formula (I), in which R1represents a linear alkyl radical and/or alkenyl radical having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, a 2-ethylhexyl radical, an isotridecyl radical or an isostearyl radical or a radical that is derived from a polyol having 2 to 15 carbon atoms and at least two hydroxyl groups; R2 represents R1 or an alkyl radical having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and; n and m, independent of one another, are equal to 0 or to numbers ranging from 1 to 100. The inventive preparations also contain: (b) propellants.
