PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment-based inkjet recording liquid always exhibiting good intermittent ejecting and jetting stability even in a low humidity environment, capable of easily recovering a normal jetting state even after being left without a nozzle cap, and having excellent plugging resistance, and further to provide an inkjet recording method improved by adding a pigment having a specified hydrophilic degree and a specific water-soluble organic solvent to the ink. SOLUTION: A water-based ink for inkjet consists essentially of water, the water-soluble organic solvent and the pigment. The water-soluble organic solvent has volatility lower than that of the water, and the ink includes a pigment dispersoid having the hydrophilic degree δm measured by an acetone titration method, and regulated within the range of 14.5<=δm<=17.3. |
