PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous colored resin particle dispersion for an ink-jet recording solution which can provide an image having high intensity, no blotting, high quality and water resistance and weather resistance to stand uses even outdoors an excellent dispersibility of the colored resin particles. SOLUTION: The aqueous colored particle dispersion is obtained by reacting an amino resin derived from a compound containing an amino group-containing triazine ring and carboxy group, a formaldehyde-supplying substance and an alcohol with a polyester resin containing hydroxy group and/or carboxy group to give a carboxy group-containing polyester resin, neutralizing a part or the whole of the carboxy groups in the carboxy group-containing polyester resin, dispersing a pigment into the polyester resin to give a colored resin and dispersing the colored resin into an aqueous medium in a particulate state. A method for producing the aqueous colored particle dispersion is provided. A ink-jet recording solution comprises this dispersion as an essential component. |
