PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inkjet recording and an inkjet recorder wherein input image information can be reproduced with high fidelity and high image quality and high image fastness as in a silver halide photograph can be achieved. SOLUTION: There is disclosed the method of inkjet recording comprising an inkjet recording process for recording an image consisting of one or more colors on a recording medium by ejecting one or more kinds of inks according to input image information, and an overcoating process for applying a protection layer for covering the image on the recording medium. A control table that corresponds to change in characteristics of the color caused by covering of the color output on the recording medium by the protection layer, is prepared beforehand. In the inkjet recording process, controlling of ejection of the inks is performed based on the control table to record an image, it is possible thereby to reproduce the input image information with high fidelity. |
