REACTION ACCELERATING BINDER, COMPOSITION FOR IMAGE RECORDING USING THE SAME AND IMAGE RECORDING SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for image recording and an image recording sheet which enable attainment of a clear image in a short time even in a low- temperature region without affecting components and without needing troublesome operations. SOLUTION: A water-soluble polymer having a carboxyl group is used as a binder. Thereby the binder is made to have a property approximate to that of a reaction accelerator and a coloring reaction is expedited. Disadvantages brought about by the use of a usual reaction accelerator, such as the troublesomeness of pH regulation and the effect on other components, are removed by avoiding the use of any reaction accelerator other than the binder.
