PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which the use of an electrophotographic photoreceptor is ensured for a long period of time and with which a satisfactory image can be stably obtained. SOLUTION: In the image forming device having the photoreceptor (image carrier) 1, and a developing device 4 for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor 1, the developing device 4 holds therein developer containing first lubricant, the device has a lubricant application means 8 for applying a second lubricant 10 to the photoreceptor. The lubricant application means 8 has a lubricant application quantity adjustment means 20 for adjusting a quantity of the second lubricant 10 applied to the photoreceptor 1 according to an image area. |
