<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based ink composition having excellent dispersibility and further having excellent water resistance and adhesion to various kinds of base materials. SOLUTION: This water-based ink composition contains a neutralized product and a pigment (II). The neutralized product is obtained by neutralizing a block copolymer (I) with >=0.05 eq. basic material based on a carboxy group, a carboxylic anhydride group, or a sulfonic acid group included in a polymer block (B). The block copolymer (I) is composed of a polymer block (A) consisting essentially of an olefinic monomer unit, and the polymer block (B) consisting of 2-100 mol% vinylic monomer having the carboxy group, the carboxylic acid anhydride group or the sulfonic acid group, and 98-0 mol% other copolymerizable vinylic monomer.</p> |
