PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-time-use camera equipped with a cartridge chamber and a main body having an opening at one end. SOLUTION: A film carrying part is provided in a main body. The film carrying part 54 is on an opposite side to the opening 62 and has an advancing element 56 adjacent to the cartridge chamber 14. A closure 80 is provided in the chamber 14. The closure 80 slides along the chamber 14 between a 1st position where it is engaged with the element 56 and a 2nd position where it covers the opening 62. After taking a photograph, a film door 68 is moved away from the opening 62, the film cartridge 16 is taken out from the chamber 14, and the closure 80 is moved to the 2nd position so as to cover the empty chamber 14.
