PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg cover which hardly falls off a lower end of a leg of a stepladder, etc., in spite of its simple constitution and in which a material for a lower surface can be changed with ease. SOLUTION: A cover material 3 is equipped with: a bottom surface part 30 and first and second side surface parts 31 and 32 which continue into the surface part 30; and a pair of coupling parts 38 and 38 for coupling both right and left sides of the surface part 31 with both right and left sides of the surface part 32, respectively. Protruding parts 33 and 34, which protrude above the coupling part 38, respectively, of the surface parts 31 and 32 are drawn near each other by fixtures 2 which are wound around the protruding parts 33 and 34, so that the cover material 3 can be attached to the lower end of the leg of the stepladder 5, etc. Additionally, the cover material 3, which has a resinous substrate layer 3a and a fiber layer 3b, can also be used in a state in which the front side and back side thereof are reversed.
