PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition suitable for obtaining molded form having practically sufficient mechanical strengths and heat resistance and freed from problems of safety and odor, to provide a molding compound composition containing the binder composition, and to provide the molded form obtained by molding the molding compound composition. SOLUTION: This binder composition comprises polystyrene powder [(A) component], unsaturated polyester powder [(B) component] and/or unsaturated polyester-polyamide powder[(C) component]. The molding compound composition comprises the binder composition and a fibrous base material [(E) component]. The molded form is obtained by molding the molding compound composition.
