PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immunochemistry/nucleic acid probe assay instrument that automatically loads a test sample card and, at the same time, optically analyzes the reaction of the card to a reagent. SOLUTION: The assay device is constituted of a sample holder which is arranged on a base pan, houses a test sample moving around the pan, and is composed of a bottom plate member and a plurality of legs protruded from the member; and a driving device which maintains the sample holder in a state where the holder is aligned with the base pan when the driving device moves the holder around the pan, by moving the holder along the side area of the pan so that the legs of the holder may linearly move in a segment of a track. When the driving device moves the sample holder around the base pan, the paddles of the driving device are respectively engaged with the side sections of the sample holder by individually rotating relatively to the pan. |
