PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank, printer and a printer system in which ink can be supplied accurately. SOLUTION: The ink tank 110 being supplied with ink from an ink source on the outside of a printer and supplying ink to a print head comprises a case 200, an absorber 204 contained in the case 200, and a prism 400 for detecting ink flowing over the absorber 204. When ink flowing over the absorber 204 is detected, ink supply from the ink source to the ink tank 110 is interrupted. |
