<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a characteristic of current (I)-transmission torque (T) at a low cost and reduce drag torque greatly. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic coupling is provided with torque transmission members 3, 5, a friction clutch 7 arranged between the members 3 and 5, a pressing member 11 of the clutch 7, and an operation means composed of an electromagnet 19 and an energizing member 23 for giving operation force in the opposite directions for each other to the member 11 and moving and operating the member 11 by the action of the electromagnet 19 to tighten the clutch 7. A connection means 21 for connecting the members 5 and 11 mutually in the axial direction is provided, and a counterforce providing means 23 for pushing the member 11 back in the direction of connection release of the clutch 7 by a counterforce having the predetermined strength through the member 5 and the connection means 21 is provided.</p> |
