COMPOSITION FOR BUILDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a building material which effectively utilizes vermiculite as a natural resource, is excellent in balance between amount and speed of absorption/discharge of moisture in particular and further has improved design and lightweight property. SOLUTION: The composition for the building material is constituted by compounding a base material with unswollen vermiculite and compounded quantity is 5 to 70 mass% of total composition (solid). Further the composition for the building material is compounded with swollen vermiculite by amount of 2.5 to 20 mass% of the total composition (solid).
