PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock which is improved in resistance or crime preventive performance against picking. SOLUTION: The cylinder lock has a rotor 3 which is rotatably housed in a casing 1 and has a key insertion hole 2 with a true circular cross section. The key insertion hole 2 of the rotor 3 has therein a thrusting portion 6 and an engaging portion 7. The thrusting portion 6 thrusts a floating engaging member 5 which is formed on an unlocking key 4 inserted into the key insertion hole 2, and movable in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the unlocking key 4. The engaging portion 7 allows the thrust floating engaging member 5 to engage therewith. Further, an outer wall of the thrusting portion 6 in a rotor 3 rotating direction is formed as a slant surface 8 which becomes narrower in a thrusting direction of the floating engaging member 6.
