PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily producing precipitated silicic acid for reinforcing rubber giving excellent rubber properties and workability. SOLUTION: A surface treatment agent is continuously fed to precipitated silicic acid slurry flowing through the inside of piping or a nozzle which feeds the slurry to a spray dryer. After that, the obtained mixture is sprayed in the spray dryer, so that the drying and surface treatment of the silicic acid are simultaneously performed.
