PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord winding device not damaging a contact and providing a sure electric contact and easy to attach to an attachment part of a drum body. SOLUTION: The drum body 40 having flange parts 44a, 44b on both end edges of a winding body part 43 provided on a center axis of a pivotally supporting part 43. Annular disk shaped attachment stand 48 made of fire- resistant material is threadedly fixed. The tongue-shaped contact metal fittings 51, 51 are provided on an attachment stand 48. A disk shaped attachment plate 77 is provided in a middle inside part of a roughly cylindrical fitting part 76 provided on a fixed plate part 75 and an attachment part 74 is formed with making a paper projecting from the attachment plate 77 as a flange part 79. Ring contacts 82, 82 slidably contacting the contact metal fittings are provided on the attachment plate 77. The flange part 79 prevents a fitting part 78 from fitting to a shaft 65 under a condition that the attachment plate 77 of the attachment part 74 and the attachment stand 48 of the drum body 40 incline.
