PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium carrying belt simultaneously realizing contrary characteristics that are flaw prevention of a surface, a small peculiarity and a high insulation property, having excellent adhesion carrying property by optimizing characteristics of a pipe-like object, an electrode protective layer or the like to obtain high adhesion force and a small warp, and having high slidablity, high water repellency and durability to ink to exert an excellent ink cleaning property. SOLUTION: This medium carrying belt has the pipe-like object molded of a high polymer material, an electrode pattern having electroconductivity, and the electrode protective layer, in this order. The electrode protective layer includes at least a layer of a composite resin composed of a filler and a resin of a tensile elastic modulus of 100-500 MPa.
