PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable container for bulk transportation, which is space-saving in storage or delivery by being piled up on top of each other in layers, after bulk is discharged. SOLUTION: In this container, a lower support-frame 9 is supported freely moveably up-down relative to a square tube 1. At the end of the square tube 1, the upper end of a chute-forming board is connected in a manner of being freely collapsible to the lower end of the square tube 1. The lower end of the chute-forming board is supported by a frame for forming an opening for chute discharge in the lower support frame. A device 30 for locking or unlocking the lower support-frame to/from the tube is provided to the side faces opposing to each other in the tube 1.
