PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the levitation stability of a rotor when the rotor is stopped and increase the rotational stability of the rotor by preventing an axial deflection when the rotor is rotating in a repulsion type magnetic levitation bearing. SOLUTION: This repulsion type magnetic levitation bearing 1 comprises the rotor 2 having a pair of rotor permanent magnets 5a and 5b and rotatable around the vertical axis thereof and a stator 3 having stator permanent magnets 6a and 6b opposed to the rotor permanent magnets 5a and 5b for repulsion. The rotor 2 is levitated by a magnetic repulsion between the rotor permanent magnets 5a and 5b and stator permanent magnets 6a and 6b. A gravity center moving mechanism 9 having a storage chamber 10 and a movable mass body 11 stored in the storage chamber 10 and moving in the axial upper direction of the rotor 2 by a centrifugal force caused by the rise of rotational speed of the rotor 2 is installed in the rotor 2. |
