PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof-sheet deterioration monitoring implement by which a deterioration state of an executed waterproof sheet is monitored easily even when the execution place of the waterproof sheet is a room body such as a rooftop, a roof or the like, and by which the repasting time of the waterproof sheet can be recognized surely, and to provide a deterioration monitoring method using the monitoring implement. SOLUTION: In the waterproof-sheet deterioration monitoring implement used to monitor the deterioration state of the executed waterproof sheet to the roof body of a building, the deterioration monitoring implement 4 is provided with a monitoring display S2 which displays the deterioration state of the sheet and a fixation part to another object 11. In the waterproof-sheet deterioration monitoring method, the monitoring implement 4 is fixed in advance to a place other than the roof body 1 and a place 11a which a user in the building can visually observe in a daily life, and the deterioration state of the sheet is recognized by the monitoring implement 4.
