PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily joint a suspending member for suspending equipment or the like to a steel plate to be used for SC method for installing a compound structural body of a steel plate-concrete. SOLUTION: This steel plate construction is equipped with a steel plate 1 having a through hole 2 and a bar-shaped insert connector 3 having a threaded portion 4, the insert connector 3 is fixed to the steel plate 1, and its thread portion 4 is exposed to the surface of the steel plate 1. A suspending member 9 can be coupled to the thread portion 4 in a freely detachable manner through a screwing pieces such as bolts or the like.
