PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air oxidation type hair-dyeing agent excellent in dyeing force. SOLUTION: This one pack air oxidation type hair-dyeing agent composition comprises (A) 5,6-dihydroxyindoline-2-carboxylic acid or its salt, (B) an alkali agent selected from sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, ammonia, guanidine, a basic amino acid and a carbonate and (C) 10-50 wt.% water-soluble organic solvent, and does not substantially contain an alkanolamine and has pH 8-12.
