PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder-driven type elevator device which is good for the environment without generating pollution such as abnormal odor and fire. SOLUTION: An operating fluid for the cylinder drive of the elevator device is an aqueous type operating fluid, especially water glycol. A rustproof treatment is applied to each apparatus of a hydraulic circuit.
