PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative air conditioner and a refrigerant collecting method for the same capable of collecting a large amount of refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit in a short time. SOLUTION: The operation is performed while applying an outdoor side heat exchanger 3 or a regenerative heat exchanger 7 as a condenser, and indoor side heat exchangers 8a, 8b, 8c as evaporaters, and the pump-down control is performed to collect the refrigerant in an indoor unit B by retaining the refrigerant in the outdoor-side heat exchanger 3 and the regenerative heat exchanger 7 by successively cutting an indoor unit liquid-side ball valve 16 and an indoor unit gas-side ball valve 15 in this order, or successively cutting a regenerative tank unit liquid-side ball valve 17, the indoor unit liquid-side ball valve 16 and the indoor unit gas-side ball valve 16 in this order.
