PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation assisting device and an operation assisting program for efficiently developing technology on the operation of broadcasting equipment, making up for the lack of technology on the operation of broadcasting equipment and preventing an accident in broadcasting. SOLUTION: The operation assisting device assisting the operation of the broadcasting equipment 50 by utilizing more than one agents 31, 33, 40 and 51 functioning on a platform 32 is constituted of technical information managing means 33 and 34 to manage technical information of the operation of the broadcasting equipment 50, a user specifying means 40 to specify a user who operates the broadcasting equipment 50, and an operation assisting means 51 to obtain technical information from the technical information managing means 33 and 34 according to the specified user and to assist the operation of the broadcasting equipment 50 for the user.
