PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device and an automatic door device capable of lowering a traveling sound by preventing the vibration of a hanging sash roller in operation. SOLUTION: In the suspension device having the hanging sash roller on a hanger for hanging a door and hanging the door in an openable manner by making the hanging sash roller travel on a rail built in the moving direction, a sliding body 12 engaging with the rail 5 is provided to the hanger 3, the sliding body 12 is slid along the rail 5 in a state to hold both sides of the direction at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the rail 5, and the suspension device is so constituted that the displacement of the hanging sash roller 4 occurring in the direction of the axis of the hanging sash roller 4 can be controlled.
