PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-allergic agent exhibiting an activity for the inhibition of histamine release from mastocytes and useful as a preventing and treating agent of various allergic diseases, an anti-inflammatory agent or a histamine release-inhibitory agent. SOLUTION: This medicine consisting of a glyceroglycolipid or its derivative, the anti-allergic agent consisting of the glyceroglycolipid or its derivative as an active ingredient, the medicine in which the glyceroglycolipid is a monogalactosyldiacylglycerol or digalactosyldiacylglycerol, and the anti-allergic agent in which the glyceroglycolipid is the monogalactosyldiacylglycerol or digalactosyldiacylglycerol are provided.
