PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train control system which can flexibly control intervals between trains, reduce the number of cables and cut maintenance cost of the system. SOLUTION: This system has a plurality of base stations 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 installed at a predetermined intervals along a train rail for controlling a plurality of trains 21, 22 and 23, and a radar for measuring the distance between the trains 21, 22 and 23 moving on the train rail 1 and each of the base stations, a calculating means for calculating train brake curves C1 and C2 to be sent as an instruction to the trains 21, 22 and 23 based on distance information between the trains 21, 22 and 23 and each of the base stations measured by the radar, and a sending means for sending it to each of the trains are provided at the plurality of base stations 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
