PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the leak of a cleaner liquid or a collision sound generated when a cleaner instrument passes through a joined part, in a writing board wherein the written content on a handwriting surface is erased by the adhesion of the cleaner liquid. SOLUTION: When the content written on the handwriting surface of a recording medium 14 is erased, the recording medium 14 is fed while closely brought into contact with the cleaner instrument 15. At this time, the joined part of the recording medium 14 trained over a drive roller 10 and a follower roller 11 is provided so as to set a constant angle with respect to the cleaner instrument 15, and the cleaner instrument 15 is successively brought into contact with the joined part 12 from one end to the other end thereof to run on the joined part 12 to pass.
