The exhaust gas lines comprise pipes(4) made of metal, and especially steel sheet, and at least one gas deflection element(6) separate from it and located in the region of the flange on the gas outlet side, and made from cast or forged metal. The pipes by one end are connected to the flange(1) on the engine side and by their other end are connected to the gas deflection element. The gas deflection element is constructed from a precision casting, especially with a wall thickness of about 2 millimetres.
