PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coloring thermal recording paper and a fixing device which are intended for improvement of fixing efficiency. SOLUTION: The coloring thermal recording paper has thermal coloring layers of cyan, magenta and yellow and a protective layer provided in lamination sequentially on a substrate. The respective maximum absorption wavelengths of the thermal coloring layers of magenta and yellow are made 385 nm and 445 nm and the emission center wavelengths of ultraviolet lamps for M and Y for fixing the thermal coloring layers of magenta and yellow are made to conform with the maximum absorption wavelengths. After the thermal coloring layer of yellow is made to color and fixed, the thermal coloring layer of magenta is made to color by heating and fixed by irradiating it with the ultraviolet ray having the emission center wavelength of 385 nm from the ultraviolet lamp for M. The ultraviolet ray for M is used effectively for fixing the thermal coloring layer of magenta, without being scarcely absorbed by the thermal coloring layer of yellow made to color of which the center of the absorption wavelength range is about 430 nm and by a fluorescent brightener of which the center of the absorption wavelength range is about 350 nm. |
