PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device of a cleaningless system which always obtains an image of a stable and satisfactory quality even under unfavorable conditions. SOLUTION: In the case the device recognizes high humidity environment as a result of detection relating to environment, a transfer roller is slid over a photoreceptor drum by an amount that is an integral multiple of one rotation of the drum, for instance, before or after the rotation (when paper does not pass through). In order to slide the transfer roller over the drum, the rotating speed of the transfer roller is altered, the rotating speed of the transfer roller is decreased by bringing a pressing member into contact with the transfer roller, and the rotation is stopped by a clutch. |
