CHARACTERISTIC ANALYSIS METHOD OF FENDER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel characteristic analysis method which enables analyzing of the compression characteristic of a fender simply on a computer without actually making a model of the fender. SOLUTION: A program for the simulation of oscillation continuously simulates a motion of ships in the alongside ship based on the types of ships, item data of the quay and meteorological data. A program of a three- dimensional finite element method model computes a reaction force generated in the fender compressed and displaced by the above-simulated motion of ships based on item data of the fender, the result of which is fed back to the above simulation.
