PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiconducting watertight composition filled in a space among element wires of a conductor by the extrusion coating method with the intertwined conductor and can form a semiconducting layer or an inner semiconducting layer simultaneously, and an insulating electric wire in which this semiconducting watertight composition is filled in the space among element wires of a conductor and is coated on the conductor. SOLUTION: A semiconducting watertight composition is extrusion-coated on the intertwined conductor 1 and filled in the space among element wires of the conductor 1 to form a watertight layer 2 and, simultaneously, is coated on the outer periphery of the conductor 1 to form a semiconducting layer 3. As the semiconducting watertight composition, a resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. base polymer containing EVA or EEA, 10-30 pts.wt. adherent polymer, and 40-80 pts. wt. acetylene black or furnace black as the carbon black or 5-50 pts.wt. ketchen black as the carbon black as essential components is used. |
