PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording paper, with which a highly dense and high image quality image excellent in ink absorbency, smoothness and flexibility of film is obtained. SOLUTION: This ink jet recording paper has an ink accepting layer comprising a lower layer including a synthetic amorphous silica and a silicon emulsion resin having a group reacting or hydrogen-bonding with the silanol group held by the silica and an upper layer including a hydrophilic binder and a synthetic amorphous silica having the average particle diameter of 3 to 200 nm. |
