PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adjustment of pulling force over a large printed matter range with a simple type without additional assembling work to improve adjustment accuracy within a range requiring the slight pulling force in a device laterally aligning a sheet in a machine processing the sheet such as a printer by improving a device type having a pulling device with a drivable carrying roller and a tamping roller supported by a turnable lever 13, whose pressing force can be adjusted by a spring means applying a load to the lever 13. SOLUTION: In this device laterally aligning the sheet, the spring means 16 has progressive spring characteristic curves 28, 35, 36. |
