PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic optical fiber cord excess length storing tool and an information outlet capable of suppressing the increase of optical loss and preventing communication from being disabled. SOLUTION: The excess length storing tool 4 formed in the information outlet is provided with a base board 10, a wall part 11, a cord inlet/outlet 12, and an excess length pressing part 13. The excess length part 9 of a plastic optical fiber cord 5 rounded by a radius of curvature larger than an allowable minimum radius of curvature is loaded on the base board 10. The wall part 11 is erected on the base board 10 and brought into contact with the outside of the circular arc of the excess length part 9 to regulate the expansion of the excess length part 9. The cord inlet/outlet 12 is arranged on the outside of the wall part 11 to lead in/out the optical fiber cord 5. The excess length pressing part 13 is opposed to the base board 10 at an interval securing at least the thickness of the excess length part 9. |
