PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protecting device against a side collision allowing smooth pulling out of a strap from a joint part of a front pillar and a pillar trim when an air bag is developed. SOLUTION: In this occupant protecting device against the side collision, the terminal part side of the strap 33 housed between the front pillar 7 and the pillar trim 10 is straightened to be laid along the joint part 43 by a clip 43 that removably attaches to the front pillar 7, and the strap 33 is smoothly pulled out into a cabin 12 from the joint part 42 of the front pillar 7 and the pillar trim 10 in response to the development of the air bag 31. |
