PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely control the skid of a vehicle by utilizing the torque reduction by an engine when an excessive torque reduction over the absorption limit torque of a motor is required. SOLUTION: The device has the engine and the motor linked to a driving wheel. When a skid is detected (S1), the required torque reduction quantity A required for avoiding the skid is calculated (S3) and the absorption limit torque B of the motor is calculated (S4). When the required torque reduction quantity A exceeds the absorption limit torque B, a surplus torque (A-B) obtained by subtracting the absorption limit torque from the required torque reduction quantity is reduced by the engine (S7, S8). |
