PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a light transmission plate of which accuracy is requested by short manhour without using an injection molding metal mold for integrally molding a light transmission plate having prism grooves. SOLUTION: The light transmission plate 1 arranged on the side of a display surface 2a of liquid crystal 2 and capable of illuminating the display surface 2a by irradiating the surfaces 2a with light from a light source 3 is constituted of a light transmitting base part 10 having a 1st face 8, a 2nd face 9 formed on the rear side of the 1st face 8 and a 3rd face 5 for introducing light of the light source 3 from the side face into its inside, an adhesive layer 11 and a light transmitting sheet 12 laid on the surface of the adhesive layer 11 by forming a plurality of prism grooves 7 on a light exit surface 6 at a prescribed interval.
