PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive photosensitive original plate for a planographic printing plate for an infrared laser for direct plate making excellent in stability of a coating liquid, unlimited in handling position, having good differential developability, development stability and development latitude and also having good printing resistance. SOLUTION: The original plate for a planographic printing plate is obtained by disposing on a support an image recording layer comprising a material which absorbs light and generates heat, a resin soluble in an aqueous alkali solution and having phenolic hydroxyl groups and an organometallic complex with a ligand having a specified β-diketone structure. |
