PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscosity improver for a high-pressure injection grouting work that can impart very good fluidity to a fluidized sand and soil slurry being a mixture containing the sand and soil, the sand and soil cutting water, etc., in the ground left after excavating the sand and soil in the desired region with excavating water, has an improved water solubility high enough to prepare a thickened excavating water or a solidifying material within a short time, and can give a solidified product satisfactorily developing compressive strength. SOLUTION: The viscosity improver for a high-pressure injection grouting work comprises a thickener, a flow modifier, and an alkali metal sulfate and/or an alkali metal chloride in such amounts that 70-98 pts. mass thickener and 2-30 pts. mass flow modifier are present per 100 pts. mass, in total, thickener and flow modifier, and 100-500 pts. mass, in total, alkali metal sulfate and alkali metal chloride are present per 100 pts. mass, in total, thickener and flow modifier. |
