PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a flexible polyurethane foam having good appearance, high density and high repulsion without using an MDI- based multinuclear body. SOLUTION: This method for producing the flexible polyurethane foam having <=45 kg/m<3> density and >=70% impact resilience is obtained by reacting (A) a specific polyisocyanate with (B) a polyol in the presence of (C) a foaming agent, (D) a catalyst and (E) a foam stabilizer in a mold. The polyisocyanate (A) is composed of (a) the following prepolymer having an isocyanate group at the terminal, and (b) TDI: component (a): the prepolymer having the isocyanate group at the terminal, and obtained by reacting (a1) the MDI with (a2) a poly(oxyalkylene)polyol having <1,000 number average molecular weight and >=3 official number of functional groups. Preferably, the content of the TDI (b) in the polyisocyanate (A) is 5-40 wt.%. |
