PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor surface that is hardly affected by foreign matters having possibilities of existing in biological materials. SOLUTION: A biosensor uses a polymer derivative basically containing a poly(ethylene glycol) having a functional group which can bond antibodies, etc., at one fragment end and a trialkyloxysilyl portion at the other fragment end. The biosensor has a surface onto which the polymer derivative is grafted through the trialkyloxysilyl portion.
