PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To an air bleed valve device which smoothly opens and closes a flap valve in the air bleed valve device for preventing generation of surge and the like in a gas turbine engine, and miniaturizes and lightens an actuator for opening and closing. SOLUTION: This air bleed valve device in a gas turbine engine comprises a low pressure compressor 23 and a high pressure compressor 9 for compressing air taken from an air intake port 17, and a flap valve 55 for temporarily releasing the air between the low pressure compressor 23 and the high pressure compressor in an opening and closing manner. A rotation supporting point position 39 of the flap valve 55 is set between a front end 55A and a rear end 55B of the flap valve 55. When the flap valve 55 is closed, the rotation supporting point position 39 is set at a position, where pressure acting on a front portion of the flap valve 55 is approximately equal to pressure acting on a rear portion.
