PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder for a printing apparatus having a plurality of stack holding magazines capable of individually taking out cassettes and/or specimen holders received in the stack holder magazines. SOLUTION: The feeder for the cassettes and/or specimen holders for histological specimens in a print system is constructed such that the cassettes and/or specimen holders are piled up each other and received in the stack holding magazines and a controller is provided for taking out the cassettes and/or specimen holders from the stack holding magazines. The feeder further comprises a drive shaft 12 with a motor 13 for at least two stack holding magazines 6, and the motor 6 is connected to the controller 1.
