PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member for an automobile capable of improving the appearance by preventing a head part of a fixing clip from being exposed on a surface side and enabling the replacement of insert only to reduce the maintenance cost. SOLUTION: An assembly projecting part 3 is formed on a rear surface side 20 of a mold forming part 2 forming a corner part K of a seal main body 1, and a channel part 4 is formed in a side end part of the mold forming part. An assembly hole 6 in which the assembly projecting part 3 is pressed is formed in a panel member 5 attached to the rear surface side 20 of the mold forming part 2. A substantially hooklike locking projection 7 to be inserted into the channel part 4 is formed in a side end part of the panel member, and a clip part 8 is protrudedly provided on the rear surface side 20 of the panel member. The clip part 8 of the panel member 5 is fitted and assembled in an insertion hole 11 provided in a steel plate part 10 constituting a door 16 or a body 15 main body of the automobile.
